Programs

All programs advance the organization’s  charitable purposes by:

 

  • Strengthening parish life and community stability
  • Preserving religious heritage, sacred spaces and access to the sacraments
  • Ensuring fair and transparent canonical processes
  • Supporting clergy and parishioners in times of hardship
  • Educating the public about canonical rights and Church governance 
  • Promoting justice, due process, and the well‑being of the Catholic faithful

These activities benefit the public by supporting the continuity of religious services, community cohesion, and the preservation of cultural and spiritual heritage.

Canonical Education & Advocacy Program

Activities include:

  • Workshops, seminars, and online materials explaining canonical processes
  • Educational guides on parish closures, mergers, and appeals
  • Public presentations on the preservation of parish life and sacred spaces
  • Training for parish groups on how to navigate Church administrative processes

These programs are open to the public and offered at no cost or at a nominal fee.

Parish & Sacrament Preservation & Community Support Program

1. Assisting parish groups in documenting historical, cultural, and community value

2. Supporting community‑based efforts to preserve sacred spaces

3. Providing educational and organizational resources to parishioners navigating transitions

4. Offering small grants for community‑building activities that strengthen parish identity

These activities serve a broad charitable class and promote the preservation of religious heritage.

Clergy & Parish Hardship Assistance Program

Assistance is awarded based on objective financial need, using a written policy and review process. 

The program is open to any clergy member within the geographic area served. 

Assistance is not compensation for services and is not tied to any legal or canonical action.

Assistance may include:

Temporary help with food, utilities, transportation, or housing

Emergency grants for essential expenses

Access to counseling, spiritual support, or community resources
